Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly reshaping classroom management by providing teachers with innovative tools for discipline, engagement, and authority. This paper critically examines the impact of AI systems such as facial recognition, emotion detection, and real-time monitoring on contemporary classroom dynamics. While these technologies promise improved attendance tracking, behavioural regulation, and personalised engagement strategies, they also raise concerns regarding teacher autonomy, student privacy, and the potential depersonalisation of learning. The discussion highlights opportunities for enhanced efficiency and responsiveness alongside challenges linked to ethical dilemmas, technological dependence, and the redefinition of traditional teacher–student relationships. By interrogating both the benefits and limitations, this study contributes to ongoing debates about the integration of AI into education and its implications for professional practice in the 21st-century classroom.
